So after an absolute stellar NYE, Day #1 just had to be a gooder. And a GOODER it was indeed!
#1 – Slept in until 10AM!! Once in a lifetime experiences do occur and let me tell you just how relaxed and rejuvenated I felt when I was woken up to my firefighter calling home!
#2 – Learned how to Skate Ski on Cypress Mountain! I’ve had a few HiLARIOUS x-country ski attempts, but skate skis and I seemed to get along a lil bit better. Granted my arms did more work than they probably should have, my glutes def felt it the next day. The highlight of this adventure was the feeling of a child: trying something new with not a care in the world of who may look and laugh! It is the most liberating experience…I’m definitely going back.

#3 – First
Hot Yoga class of the year – a great stretch and reminder of just how UNflexible I am.
Shannon led a wonderful class with a perfect blend of spunk and pizzazz followed by the most delightful savassna.
#4 – Doug came home for dinner together – at the table (my fav!) – and a quick massage before bed!
Serious gratitude for my health that enables me to be active, my sense of adventure that doesn’t keep me home, a fab group of peeps to call friends and a husband who makes it just that much better:)
