#25 (of 25 in 25) – Simplify. Life. This is the year to do it. Top to bottom, every drawer, nook and cranny…there is room to make life just a lil more simple.
It started with the wardrobe over-haul (also on the 25 in 25 list!). 4 FULL bags later, my closet is not only streamlined, but it is EXCiTiNG! Everything has a place. Everything fits (right now, like Today..not 10lbs from now). And everything makes me feel great when I put it on.
The kitchen was next. No more gadgets that never get used, tupperwear without a lid or salad dressings gone bad. It is clean, fresh and now stocked with wholesome goodness!
The closets, the book cases, the magazine collections, the cork board…you name it, it’s had a face lift.
I think this may just be the best way to bring in the New Year. Granted, it took two weeks, but it was SOO worth it.
I am now open, ready, willing and have the space to welcome in the joys and blessings of 2009! More friends and family – there’s room! Shed some LB’s – don’t mind if they go! Perhaps a few new treasures or books – but of course, there is room for you too!
Take the time to simplify, so you have the room to multiply.

So true. What a simple thing it is to simplify, and yet it takes so long to actually DO it sometimes! We rang in the new year for the second year in a row by putzing around our place and purging too. It was painful during the process, but feels sooo good now!
