Today is the day! The day IM virgins get inspired for the first time and IM vets get inspired, yet again. It is every IronPerson’s dream to compete at the highest level in sport and race Ironman Hawaii – World Championships. Today dreams come true!
We were finger tips away from clicking “buy tickets”, when I decided that multiple trips to Hawaii in the same calendar year just didn’t feel right. Instead, we are heading to the beautiful land of Hope,BC to spend time with family and indulge in a delicious turkey….while watching live-streamin’ updates from Kona. (The Irwin Fam knows how to get live updates like it is nobody’s business! SistaKare is the queen of this!)
One special pro has a very special place in the hearts of TeamFabulous after she stayed with us in the summer. She is also the returning Top American. Corbinator – we will be cheering for you all day today – go get ‘em CowGirl!
…after Linsey, we have our bets on the table of Top3 swim/bike/run/finisher/best outfit. The loser has to make dinner for the rest of the crew, but I think a team trip to Kona next year would be even MORE fun!
