Until the torch will light up the streets of Vancouver and kick off the 2010 Winter Olympics! I will admit that I was slightly skeptical, slightly pessimistic about these games – like how would I get to work? what if it snows? how will this impact our taxes? – until I was slapped upside the head. Getting to work, traveling in the snow and tax dollars do not compare to DREAMS coming TRUE! It’s 3 weeks of chaos in exchange for national pride and once-in-a-lifetime experiences for athletes. Not to mention, the dreams that this will inspire in 100′s of thousands young people who will all aspire to be on the podium to hear their own national anthem play. *It gives me shivers just thinking about it!*
