December 27th marks the second annual 100×100 post-Christmas swim.  Come one, come all – come for 6km or 10km – Come have a ball!

Location: Harry Jerome Rec Center, North Vancouver

Start Time: 9AM

Broken into 10 sets of 10×100 on pace times meant to be more fun than tough:

1. Alternate: (1- swim/ 1- 50kick/50swim) x5 on 2:00
2. Dec (1-5) on 1:50
3. 50 nonFR/50 FR on 2:00
4. Build by 100 on 1:45
**1hr 15min mark**
2min break
5. Kick w/fins on 2:00
6. Solid effort on 1:40
7. IM on 2:00
8. Build by 100 on 1:45
**2hr30min mark**
3min break
9. Pull on 2:00
10. 6 hard on 1:30/ 4 easy on 2:00

**Total time: 3hr 15min**

    To any non-swimmer….that made no sense!!!!

    One day I would like to start swimming again!

    I was thinking about what I would have to start my 100′s on to pull of a 100×100 and those times are sick (Avg Pace including breaks 1:57 per 100m)!!!

    Think 100×100 will be my aim for some time in 2010. For 2009 I will just have to let others do the suffering

      Seriously dude — if you are in town, you should come join us! There will be a great group of tri geeks (ironheads included!) and you will surprise yourself….100′s fly by!
      For the record: the girl I did this with last year had never done more than 3500m in the pool and had a slower IM swim time than you. Really, no excuses!
