Jake Mossop, soon to be Dr. Jake, is one of my most favorite childhood friends. We swam together as youngens and had some solid fun as “adults” in BC. We rode bikes down busy streets, ate ice cream on the beach, watched him strut his stuff at fashion shows, he was a loud mouth at our wedding…yah know, real good wholesome FUN!
What this man knows how to do is two things (really really well!):
1. Love his family like no one else i know.
2. Really LIVE it UP! He finished his nursing degree and proceeded to work as a nurse only long enough to pay off his student loan and save enough money to go live in Paris – a dream come true. He returned from Europe to focus on studying for his MCAT (19 days away!) before he will leave for a 3week volunteer medical trip to Kenya. And he just turned 25! Zing!
This blog post is over do as he has been raising funds for his trip for several months and I’ve been meaning to blog about it for weeks. Point: he hasn’t left yet and you can still donate.
Team Fabulous has just donated. Why? Because if I know one thing for sure, it is that there will be NO other pediatrician with the same love for children and their health as this soon-to-be doctor! Our unborn children will be so thrilled you went to med school. Good Luck Jake! xo

Steph, you are unmatched in every respect. Thanks for those kind words and for INSPIRING me to be a better person! Love
