Hi,
seen you will be doing the Vancouver half ironman. I also read you did it last year.
I’m coming over from Belgium to race it this year. Cant you tell me something (your experience, difficulties, how is the road for biking,…)

Oh what a GREAT race to do in Vancouver! It is definitely fabulous!
Swim: last year the tide was in – ocean swim – nothing crazy, great sand beach to run up. Only not great if the tide is OUT…much longer beach to run up!
Bike: 4 laps with a pretty decent climb thrown in there, otherwise, relatively flat and fast! Great road for riding!
Run: AWESOME! 2 laps on a gravel path.
Very well organized, great volunteers and typically awesome weather. You will love it!
