Cadence Cycling Studio - they’ve brougth NY style spinning to YVR! Best spin, indoors.
Speed Theory - because riding outdoors is even mo’fun and they keep my bike on the road.

RESTAURANTS…because good food fuels a great life!
Arm’s Reach Bistro – North Vancouver, BC – the perfect lil spot in a perfect lil cove.
Salt Tasting Room - Vancouver, BC – Meat. Cheese. Bread. Wine. Repeat!
Medina Cafe - Vancouver, BC – lavender latte with 2 Belgium waffles, please. *worth the wait in line*
Irashi Sushi – Vancouver, BC – my fav spicy tuna roll on the left coast.
Dharma Kitchen - best chai in YVR; most delicious vegan experience in the city.
Organic Lives - the entire menu is delicious and you leave feeling more….alive!
Juice Truck - they just rule. (And so does their website!)
Savary Island Pie Company - my favorite soups + sandwiches, when I’m eating gluten.
Bao Bei - Chinese food done ohhh-soooo-right! It’s worth the wait for those darn dumplings.
The Prado in Balboa Park – San Diego, CA – simply put: a divine dining experience.
Balthazar - NY, NY – brunch, lunch, dinner, bubbles & oysters, the perfect place anytime of day.
Real Food Daily (RFD) – Santa Monica, CA – vegan awesomeness
Cafe Gratitude - LA, CA – real, raw, grateful goodness

SWEET TREATS…because they are a necessary ingredient to the Happy Life!
Thomas Haas – best birthday cake available in North America. (And Thomas is a cute cyclist!)
CocoaNymph – nothing beats: dark choco & sea salt by the sea shore. *Warning: sells out very fast!*
Aphrodites Pie - the very best pie, in the world, only second to Nana’s. (And it’s gluten free)

FARMER’s MARKETS…these dudes need our love.
Salt Spring Island, BC – hard to believe everything is made on the wee island! Soap, cheese, artwork and bread are my favs here.
Trout Lake, Vancouver, BC – a perfect Saturday morning produce stop with delish buckwheat crepes that cannot be passed up.
Hornby Island, BC – beautiful people selling beautiful things. Watch out for the frozen mango lineup!
Slow Food Cycle, BC – the best bike ride north of Whistler! 50km of fabulous farmer’s treats from fresh burgers to ice cream sandwiches – ride hard so you don’t miss out!

    Fresh “favs” are always good. But you don’t have to make a new list! Have you ever heard of the Internet Archive’s Wayback Machine? Hacked or deleted, you can track most any website in snapshots (try checking out some if the sites from the late 90′s–even the most advanced corporations and higher education institutions look pretty chintzy). I looked up your site and, your enough, your favorites are still there. If this link doesn’t work, just googele “Wayback Machine.” Good luck and thanks for sharing your inspiration!
